Costa Rica 2,000 Colones Banknote, 2018, P-281, UNC, Polymer, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The Costa Rica 2,000 Colones Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Costa Rica in 2018, printed on polymer. On its obverse is a portrait of Mauro Fernandez Acuna and the Colegio Superior de Senoritas in San Jose. It also shows the outline map of Costa Rica. Its reverse features a bull shark (Carcharhinus leucas), a sea star (asteroidea), and sea pens (pennatulacea). It has a simulated security thread. It has a clear window watermark with a patterned design and a portrait of Maufro Fernandez Acuna. It is 132 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Rodrigo Cubero Brealey and Eduardo Prado Zuniga. This polymer banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
