This uncirculated 5 colones Costa Rica note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Costa Rica. It is an olive green, purple, orange, red, brown, and blue note that is dated 1986, bear the signatures of Rodrigo Bolanos Zamora and Eduardo Lizano Fait, and measures 156 x 67 mm. Its obverse side features President Rafael Anselmo Jose Yglesias Castro and Guarianthe skinneri orchids (national flower). Its reverse side shows coffee and bananas being laden on ships at dock, from Aleardo Villa’s 1897 painting in the National Theater (Teatro Nacional). Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of BCCR CINCO 5 pattern.
