This uncirculated 5 Costa Rican colon banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Costa Rica. It is an olive green, purple, orange, red, brown, and blue banknote that is dated 24 January 1990, bear the signatures of Eduardo Lizano Fait and Feliz Delgado Quesada, and measures 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features President Rafael Anselmo Jose Yglesias Castro and the Guarianthe skinneri orchid, the national flower of Costa Rica. Its reverse side depicts coffee and bananas being loaded onto ships at a dock, a scene from Aleardo Villa’s 1897 painting in the National Theater.
