Reviews:

The Costa Rica 5 Colones Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Costa Rica in 1992 as part of Series D. It has a color combination of olive green, purple, orange, red, brown, and blue. The obverse features President Rafael Anselmo Jose Yglesias Castro and Guatianthe skinneri orchids which is the national flower of Costa Rica. On the reverse are coffee and bananas being laden on ships at the dock, from Aleardo Villa’s 1897 painting in the National Theater. Its watermark shows a geometric pattern but does not have a security thread. It is 156 x 67 mm and is signed by Jorge Guardia Quiros. This banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
