The Croatia 1,000 Dinara was issued in 1994 due to the monetary unit reform in Yugoslavia. The banknote comes in dark brown and blue-black color schemes and is 140 x 66 mm in size. Its obverse bears Serbian text and displays the fortress sitting on a hill in Knin. The back of the note is in Croatian and depicts the countrys coat of arms in the middle. It also features a decorated vase. The paper bill carries a watermark that reflects a Greek key design. Additionally, it was printed by the Banknote Printing Works and has the signature of the National Bank of the Republic of Serbian Krajina Governor Pavao Marjanovic. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
