The Cyprus 1 Pound Banknote is part of the 2004 issues of the Central Bank of Cyprus. The note has a color combination of brown, orange, green, and black. Its obverse features a Cypriot girl wearing a traditional costume. It also depicts the map of Cyprus, birds, and the coat of arms showing a dove carrying an olive branch. The reverse of the paper bill features handicrafts such as blankets, vases, and lacework. In the background are houses and trees in Lefkara Village. The banknote bears a windowed security thread with a demetallized KTK and a watermark that reflects the bust of Aphrodite. It has dimensions of 140 x 68 mm and is in uncirculated condition. It also has a radar serial number and has been TAP authenticated with a grade.
