The Cyprus 1 Pound Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Cyprus in 2004. It comes in a combination of brown, orange, green, and black. Featured on its obverse is a Cypriot girl in her traditional attire. The banknote’s obverse also shows the map of Cyprus, birds, and the coat of arms depicting a dove with an olive branch. The back of the banknote depicts handicrafts including blankets, vases, and lacework. It also displays houses and trees in Lefkara Village. The paper bill contains a windowed security thread with a demetallized KTK and a watermark that reveals the effigy of Aphrodite. It measures 140 x 68 mm and is in uncirculated condition. This particular banknote has a repeating serial number and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
