The Czechia - Czech Republic 500 Korun Banknote is part of the 1993 Provisional Issues released by the Czech National Bank, dated 1973. It has a color combination of tan, brown, orange, blue, red, yellow, and purple. The reverse of the note features the coat of arms of socialist Czechoslovakia depicting the Soviet star above a rampant double-tailed lion with the Soviet Slovak shield. It also shows two Russian soldiers carrying PPSsh-41 submachine guns, a castle on a hill, armed Slovak partisans, and a dark blue D 500 adhesive stamp printed on opaque paper. The reverse depicts a Medieval shield and the ruins of the Devin Castle. The note does not contain a security thread. Its watermark reveals a stars and linden leaves pattern. It is 154 x 68 mm in size. This particular banknote has the Prefix W and is in uncirculated condition.
