Congo Democratic Republic 100 Francs Banknote, 2007, P-98a, UNC

The 2007 Democratic Republic of Congo 100 Francs with a pick number P-98 was issued by the Central Bank of Congo. Centered on the banknotes obverse is the bank monogram and on the left is an elephant in Virunga National Park in the Albertine Rift Valley. The reverse of the banknote features the Inga II hydroelectric dam on the Congo River. Security elements of the 150 x 70 mm paper bill include a solid security thread with a demetalized REP DEM DU CONGO, a watermark that reflects an okapis head, and a registration device in the shape of a 5-pointed star in a diamond.
