This uncirculated 1,000 Djiboutian franc banknote is part of the series of notes issued by the National Bank of Djibouti in 1991. It is a red, brown, and yellow banknote that measures 152 mm x 81 mm and bears the signature of Djama Marhamoud Haid. Its obverse side depicts railroad trains and a woman. Its reverse side depicts a man with three camels, mountains, and a thorny bush. Security features include a 46-mm wide Arabic text on top and a coat of arms watermark.
