Djibouti 2,000 Francs Banknote, 2008 ND, P-43a.1, UNC

The 2008 version of the 2,000 Djiboutian franc banknote has the same design as its predecessor. However, its issuer is the Banque Centrale de Djibouti (Central Bank of Djibouti). Its obverse side depicts a young girl with a camel caravan traversing the Grand Bara Desert. Its reverse side shows a view of the Presidential Palace in Djibouti City, and a statue of a warrior holding a spear and a shield. The note has a solid security thread, a watermark of the coat of arms, and an electrotype watermark BCD. The notes dimensions are 160 mm x 80 mm.
