The Dominican Republic 10 Centavos Oro is part of the fractional banknote series issued in 1961 to address the economic instability that made the public hoard silver coins. This 8-piece uncut sheet of specimen banknotes is in uncirculated condition and is arranged 4 x 2. The obverse of the note features the Banco de Reservas building the bank seal. The reverse features the emblem of the Dominican Republic and a portrait of the Taino tribe cacique wearing a Libertad band with feathers. The banknote is 118 x 53 mm in size and has the signatures of Ramos and Machado.
