The Dominican Republic 10 Centavos Oro is part of the fractional banknotes issued in 1961 when the Dominican Republic experienced economic instability which made people hoard silver coinage. This 2-piece uncut sheet of specimen banknotes is in used condition and arranged 2 x 1. The obverse centers the Banco de Reservas building. It also shows the bank logo. The reverse side of the banknote bears the national emblem and an in-profile image of Taino Cacique Enriquillio wearing a Libertad band with feathers. Each banknote is 118 x 53 mm in size and has a MUESTRA SIN VALOR overprint in red.
