This uncirculated 100 Dominican peso oro note is a specimen banknote issued by the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic. It is an orange, brown, red, and yellow note that is dated 2002, bear the signatures of Francisco M. Guerrero Prats-R. and Fernando Alvarez Bogaert, and measures 158 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features mahogany flowers, a diagonal black ESPECIMEN/ MUESTRA SIN VALOR overprint, a horizontal black number overprint, and portraits of Francisco del Rosario Sanchez, Juan Pablo Duarte, and Matias Ramon Mella. Its reverse side shows the Puerta del Conde (Count’s Gate) fort, a diagonal black ESPECIMEN/ MUESTRA SIN VALOR overprint, and mahogany flowers. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetallized CIEN PESOS ORO, an all-zero serial number, and a watermark of Juan Pablo Duarte.
