This uncirculated 50 Centavos Oro Dominican Republic note is a specimen banknote issued by the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic. It is a purple and black note that is dated 1961 ND, bear the signatures of Manuel V. Ramos and Jose Manuel Machado, and measures 118 x 53 mm. Its obverse side features the National Palace building in Santo Domingo and a horizontal red MUESTRA SIN VALOR overprint. Its reverse side shows the head of Enriquillo wearing a LIBERTAD band with feathers, coat of arms and a horizontal red MUESTRA SIN VALOR overprint. This note does not have a security thread or a watermark. The note was withdrawn in 1967.
