The Dominican Republic 2,000 Pesos Dominicanos was issued in 2014 by the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic with a pick number P-194. The banknote features on its front side the bank logo, mahogany flowers, and Emilio PrudHomme and Jose Reyes who were composers of the national anthem of the Dominican Republic. Additionally, its denomination is presented in green Optically Variable Ink. The reverse of the note depicts the National Theatre building in Santo Domingo. The banknote is 158 x 67 mm in size and bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized 2000. It also has a watermark that consists of an image of Juan Pablo Duarte and a vertical electrotype 2000 on a pixelated background. This particular paper bill is in exceptional paper quality and has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
