The East Caribbean States 1 Dollar Banknote was released by the East Caribbean Currency Authority in 1965. It has a color combination of red, violet, and light blue. The obverse of the note features Pietro Annigoni’s 1956 portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in regalia of the Order of the Garter. Also notable on the obverse are the map of the islands and fish. The reverse of the banknote depicts a harbor with ships, buildings, trees, and flowers. The paper bill contains a solid security thread and a watermark that shows Queen Elizabeth II. It is 150 x 70 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. This particular paper bill has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
