The East Caribbean States 1 Dollar banknote was issued by the East Caribbean Currency Authority in 1965. It has hints of red, violet, and light blue and measures 150 x 70 mm. The banknotes obverse displays the map of the islands and Pietro Annigonis 1956 portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the regalia of the Order of the Garter. The back of the paper bill depicts a harbor with ships, buildings, flowers, and palm trees. The note was printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company Limited and carries a solid security thread and a watermark that shows Queen Elizabeth II. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
