This uncirculated 50 East Caribbean dollar note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank in 2024 for the 50th anniversary of Grenada’s independence. It is a multicolored polymer note that bears the signature of Timothy N. J. Antoine, and measures 65 mm x 132 mm. Both sides of the note are vertically oriented. Its obverse side features Eric Gairy (first prime minister of Grenada), Kirani James (Olympic sprinter), a silhouette of a family, the map of Grenada, a nutmeg branch, and a jet airliner at the Maurice Bishop International Airport in Grenada. Its reverse side shows Maurice Bishop (second prime minister of Grenada), St. Georges, a nutmeg branch with leaves, and a woman singing with three men drumming. Because it is a polymer note, it does not have a security thread or a watermark.
