This East Caribbean States 1 Dollar note bears on its obverse the map of the Caribbean islands identifying Anguilla. Issued by the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank in 1988-1989, the notes obverse also features a windsurfer, a conch shell, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth with the tiara of Grand Duchess Vladimir and the golden jubilee necklace of Queen Victoria. The back of the 145 x 70 mm paper bill depicts a harbor with ships, buildings, and palm trees. Flower designs are also shown on the left border while a swordfish is illustrated on the bottom right. The note carries a solid security thread with printed ECCB and a watermark that consists of an image of Queen Elizabeth II. This particular banknote is graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
