This 1 Dollar banknote of the East Caribean States was issued by the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank between 1988 and 1989. The obverse features Queen Elizabeth II wearing Grand Duchess Vladimir’s tiara and the golden jubilee necklace of Queen Victoria. It also depicts a windsurfer, a conch shell, and the map of the Caribbeans that identifies the island of Anguilla. The reverse of the note displays a harbor landscape with flowers, ships, buildings, and palm trees. A swordfish is also visible on the bottom right. The 145 x 70 mm paper bill comes with a solid security thread with printed ECCB. It also has a watermark that reflects Queen Elizabeth II. This banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
