Ecuador 20 Sucres Banknote, 1920, P-S253r1, UNC

The Ecuador 20 Sucres Banknote features on the front side a seated Christopher Columbus with an anchor, a globe and arms to his left. Meanwhile, the reverse side features men in a rowboat pictured inside an ornament frame. Banknotes issued by Banco Sur Americano, spent only a few days in circulation in 1920. This particular 20-sucre banknote is a remainder note, which means it bears no signature and serial. It measures 165 x 79 mm and has shades of green, gray, pink and blue.
