The Egypt 1 Pound banknote is part of the 2017 issues of the Central Bank of Egypt. The paper bill has hints of brown, yellow, pink, and green. Its obverse features the mosque and mausoleum of Sultan Qayetbay in Cairo. The reverse of the note honors Rameses II. Various hieroglyphics and art from the Luxor Temple of Amenophis II, cartouches with the names of Nefertari and Rameses II, and the four statues of Rameses II from the Great Temple at Abu Simbel are featured on the reverse side of the note. The 140 x 70 mm note was printed by the Central Bank of Egypt. Its security features include a windowed motion security thread and a watermark of the mask of King Tut-Ankh-Amon. Additionally, it carries the signature of Governor Tarek Hassan Amer. It is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
