This uncirculated 1 Egyptian pound banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Egypt. It is a brown, yellow, pink, and green banknote that is dated 2017, bears the signature of Tarek Hassan Amer, and measures 140 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features the mosque and mausoleum of Sultan Qayetbay in Cairo. Its reverse side honors Rameses II. It also shows various hieroglyphics and art from the Luxor Temple of Amenophis II, cartouches with the names of Nefertari and Rameses II, and the four statues of Rameses II from the Great Temple at Abu Simbel. Security features include a windowed motion security thread, a serial number with a 592-prefix, and a watermark that reveals the mask of King Tut-Ankh-Amon.
