This uncirculated 1 Egyptian pound note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Egypt. It is a brown, yellow, pink, and green banknote that is dated 2018, bears the signature of Tarek Hassan Amer, and measures 140 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features the mosque and mausoleum of Sultan Qayetbay at the Mamluks Cemetery in Cairo. Its reverse side features the birds and other shapes from the structure in front of the Luxor Temple, the names of Nefertari and Rameses II in cartouches, and four statues of Rameses II in the Great Temple at Abu Simbel. Security features of the banknote include a windowed motion security thread and a mask of King Tut-Ankh-Amon watermark.
