This 10 Egyptian piaster note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Arab Republic of Egypt between 1986 and 1996. It is a brown, green, and pink note that is dated 1940, bears the signature of Mohamed Ahmed El Razaz, and measures 118 mm x 62 mm. Its obverse side features a man with a hoe, a solider with a rifle, a man with a wrench, and two women in robes. Its reverse side shows THE ARAB REPUBLIC OF EGYPT text. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of an ARE and جمع pattern. The note was demonetized in 1991.
