The Egypt 10 Pounds Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Egypt in 2019. It has a color combination of violet, brown, red, and yellow. Its obverse side features the facade of the Al-Rifa-I Mosque in Cairo. Its reverse side features the diorite statue of King Chefren with Horus the Sun God. Security features of the note include a solid security thread with demetalized denomination in Arabic, a 4-mm wide windowed security thread with a demetalized 10, 10 pounds in Arabic, and the coat of arms of Egypt. It also has a watermark that shows King Khafre and an electrotype 10. The note is 150 mm x 70 mm in size and is signed by Tarek Hassan Amer. This particular banknote has the prefix 471 and is in uncirculated condition.
