The Egypt 10 Pounds banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Egypt in 2020. It has a color combination of violet, brown, red, and yellow. The banknote’s obverse features the exterior of the Al-Rifa-i Mosque in Cairo. The reverse of the paper bill depicts the diorite statue of King Chefren with God Horus. The banknote is 150 x 70 mm in size and bears a solid security thread with a demetalized denomination in Arabic, a 4-mm wide windowed security thread. It also has a watermark that reveals a watermark that reflects King Khafre and an electrotype 10. The banknote has the prefix 497 and is in uncirculated condition.
