The Egypt 100 Pound replacement banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Egypt in 2013. It has a color combination of green, orange, purple, and brown. The banknotes obverse features the Sultan Hassan Mosque in Cairo. The reverse of the paper bill depicts the Great Sphinx of Giza, hieroglyphics of Kemet which is the countrys ancient name. The banknote is 166 x 70 mm in size and bears watermark and security thread varieties. Additionally, the note carries a registration device in the form of the Eye of Horus. This replacement 400 banknote is in uncirculated condition.
