This uncirculated 20 pounds Egypt note is a replacement banknote issued by the Central Bank of Egypt. It is a green, purple, pink, and brown note that is dated 2013, bears the signature of Hisham Ramez Abdel Hafez, and measures 155 x 70 mm. Its obverse side features Muhammad Ali Pasha mosque in Cairo and Eye of Horus as registration device. Its reverse side shows Ramesses II with bow and arrow in war chariot, bas relief carvings from Chapel of Sesostris I at Karnak temple, showing coronation of a pharaoh, inauguration of temple building, and pharaoh with offering table, a stylized papyrus flowers and the Eye of Horus. Security features include a 3-mm wide windowed thread with demetalized 20 and TWENTY POUNDS in arabic and a watermark of Princess Nofret and electrotype 20.
