This uncirculated 20 Egyptian pound banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Egypt. It is a green, purple, pink, and brown banknote that is dated 08 February 2018, bears the signature of Tarek Hassan Amer, and measures 155 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features the Muhammad Ali Pasha Mosque. Its reverse side depicts Rameses II on a war chariot, the bas-relief carvings from the Chapel of Sesostris I depicting the coronation of a pharaoh and stylized papyrus flowers. Security features include an Eye of Horus registration device, a 1.5 mm wide solid security thread with demetalized Arabic text, a 4-mm wide windowed security thread with demetalized 20, TWENTY POUNDS in Arabic, and coat of arms, and a watermark of Princess Notfret with an electrotype 20.
