The Egypt 200 Pounds with a pick number P-68a is part of the family of notes issued by the Central Bank of Egypt in 2007. The note bears purple, green, and brown color schemes and has dimensions of 175 x 80 mm. Its obverse boasts the Qani Bay Mosque situated in Cairo. The reverse of the note features the Seated Scribe statue and a cartouche with hieroglyphics Egypt is Peace. The banknote comes with a 3-mm wide windowed thread that has a demetalized 200 and the denomination in Arabic. It also has a 1.5 mm solid security thread with a demetalized 200 POUNDS in Arabic.
