The Egypt 200 Pounds with a pick number P-68a was issued by the Central Bank of Egypt in 2007. The note comes in purple, green, and brown color combinations and features the Qani Bay Mosque on its obverse. The reverse of the note displays the Seated Scribe statue and a cartouche with hieroglyphics Egypt is Peace. The 175 x 80 mm banknote bears a 3-mm wide windowed thread that has a demetalized 200 and the denomination spelled out in Arabic. It also has a 1.5 mm solid security thread with a demetalized 200 POUNDS in Arabic. As an added security measure, the banknote has a watermark that reflects an Egyptian Scribe and an electrotype 200. This particular Egypt 200 Pound banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
