The Egypt 200 Pounds was released in 2013 by the Central Bank of Egypt. Its front side features the Qani Bay mosque which is situated in Cairo. The reverse of the note displays the Seated Scribe statue and a cartouche that depicts Egypt is Peace in hieroglyphics. The 165 x 73 mm paper bill bears a 3-mm wide solid security thread with a demetalized 200 and TWO HUNDRED POUNDS printed in Arabic. The banknote also carries a 1.5 mm solid security thread with a demetalized 200 POUNDS. Its watermark shows an Egyptian Scribe and an electrotype 200. This particular replacement issue has been graded 65 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
