The Egypt 200 Pounds was released in 2013 by the Central Bank of Egypt. Its front side features the Qani Bay mosque which is situated in Cairo. The reverse of the note displays the Seated Scribe statue and a cartouche that depicts Egypt is Peace in hieroglyphics. The 175 x 200 mm paper bill bears a 3-mm wide solid security thread with a demetalized 200 POUNDS printed in Arabic. Its watermark shows an Egyptian Scribe and an electrotype 200. This replacement banknote carries the serial number 999/Y 6187965. It comes in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
