This uncirculated note is a replacement print for a 200 Egyptian pound note from 2013. The 200 Egyptian pound note is dated 2013 and signed by Hisham Ramez Abdel Hafez. It is a purple, green, and brown note that measures 165 mm x 73 mm. Its obverse side features the Qani Bay Mosque in Cairo. Its reverse side features a cartouche with “Egypt is Peace” in hieroglyphics and the statue of the Seated Scribe. Security features include a 3-mm wide windowed security thread with demetalized 200 and TWO HUNDRED POUNDS in Arabic, a 1.5-mm wide solid security thread with demetalized 200 POUNDS in Arabic, a denomination registration device, and a watermark of an Egyptian Scribe with an electrotype 200.
