The Egypt 200 Pounds Banknote is part of the 2013 issues of the Central Bank of Egypt. This replacement banknote comes with the prefix 999. It has color combinations of purple, green, and brown. Featured on the obverse is the denomination in SPARK and the Qani Bay Mosque in Cairo. The reverse of the paper bill depicts a statue of the Seated Scribe and a cartouch with “Egypt is Peace” in hieroglyphics. The note contains a motion windowed security thread, a 1.5-mm wide solid security thread with demetallized 200 Pounds in Arabic, a denomination registration device, and a watermark that reveals the Egyptian Scribe and an electrotype 200. This replacement banknote is 165 x 73 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
