The Egypt 200 Pounds Banknote is part of the 2013 issues of the Central Bank of Egypt. This replacement banknote comes with the prefix 999. It has a color combination of purple, green, and brown. Featured on the obverse is the denomination in SPARK and the Qani Bay Mosque in Cairo. The reverse of the paper bill depicts a statue of the Seated Scribe and a cartouch with “Egypt is Peace” in hieroglyphics. The banknote contains a motion windowed security thread, a 1.5-mm wide solid security thread with demetallized 200 Pounds in Arabic, a denomination registration device, and a watermark that reveals the Egyptian Scribe and an electrotype 200. This replacement banknote is 165 x 73 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
