This uncirculated 5 pounds Egypt note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Egypt. It is a slate blue and orange note that is dated 1976-1978, bears the signature of Mohamed Abd El Fatah Ibrahim, and measures 170 x 85 mm. Its obverse side features the Ahmad Ibn Tulun mosque in Cairo. Its reverse side shows columns from temple of Ramesses II at Karnak, bas relief scenes of fishing, agriculture, and Nile god holding and offering table with lotus and papyrus flowers, from Ptolemaic temple. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of Egyptian scribe.
