The Egypt 5 Pounds Banknote has a mix of blue, green, yellow, and orange colors. The Ahmad Ibn Tulun mosque in Cairo is featured on the obverse side, as well as the Eye of Horus as registration device. The reverse side shows bas relief scenes of agriculture, Nile god holding offering table with lotus and papyrus flowers, and fishing, from Ptolemaic temple. The banknote is 145 x 70 mm in size and was in circulation from 2004 until 2015 as part of the series introduced in 2000 that included Omron rings and windowed security threads.
