The Egypt 5 Pound replacement banknote was issued in 2013 by the Central Bank of Egypt with a pick number P-63cz. The banknote comes in slate blue, orange, yellow, and green color combinations. The banknotes obverse features the Ahmad Ibn Tulun Mosque situated in Cairo. The reverse displays a bas relief from the temple of Ptolemaic, depicting agriculture, the Nile gold carrying an offering table with papyrus flowers and lotus, and fishing. The banknote is 145 x 70 mm in size and bears the eye of Horus as its registration device. It has a windowed and a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects King Tuthmosis and an electrotype 5. This TAP authenticated replacement banknote comes in uncirculated condition.
