Egypt 5 Pounds Banknote, 2020, P-72i.30, UNC, Prefix 492

The Egypt 5 Pound banknote was released by the Central Bank of Egypt in 2020. It comes in a combination of slate blue, green, yellow, and orange. Its obverse features the Ahmad Ibn Tulun Mosque in Cairo. The reverse of the paper bill depicts the agricultural scenes in bas relief such as the Nile god holding an offering table with lotus and papyrus flowers, and fishing. The paper bill is 145 x 70 mm in size and contains a solid security thread with a demetalized denomination in Arabic, a 4-mm wide windowed security thread with demetalized 5 and Five Pounds in Arabic. Its watermark consists of an image of King Tuthmosis and an electrotype 5. The banknote is also signed by Tarek Hassan Amer. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition and bears the prefix 492.
