The Egypt 5 Pound banknote is part of the 2020 issues of the Central Bank of Egypt. It is in slate blue, yellow, green, and orange color schemes and is 145 x 70 mm in size. The obverse of the banknote depicts the Ahmad Ibn Tulun Mosque in Cairo. Featured on the reverse are agricultural scenes in bas relief, the Nile god holding an offering table with lotus and papyrus flowers, and fishing. The banknote carries a solid security thread with a demetalized denomination in Arabic, a 4-mm wide windowed security thread with demetalized 5, Five Pounds in Arabic, and the coat of arms of Egypt. Its watermark consists of an image of King Tuthmosis and an electrotype 5. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
