Egypt 5 Pounds Banknote, 2023, P-72m, UNC

This uncirculated 5 Pounds Egypt note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Egypt. It is a slate blue, green, yellow, and orange note that is dated 2023, bears the signature of Hassan Abdalla, and measures 145 x 70 mm. Its obverse side features Ahmad Ibn Tulun mosque in Cairo and Eye of Horus as registration device. Its reverse side shows the Eye of Horus, bas relief scenes of agriculture, Nile god holding an offering table with lotus and papyrus flowers, and fishing, from Ptolemaic temple. Security features include a solid security thread with demetalized denomination in arabic, a 4-mm wide windowed thread with demetalized 5, five pounds in arabic, and coat of arms. This note also has a watermark of King Tuthmosis and electrotype 5.
