This 5 Egyptian pound coin was issued in 1986 (AH 1406) to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the National Theater. It is a non-circulating commemorative coin that is in extremely fine condition. Its obverse side shows theatre curtains that reveal the denomination, state name and date in Arabic text. Its reverse side depicts a view of the National Theater building with the comedy and tragedy masks. The coin is made of silver, weighs 17.5 g, and has a diameter of 37.2 mm.
