Reviews:

The Egypt 50 Piastres Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Egypt in 2006 in a color combination of green, purple, yellow, and orange. On its obverse is the Al-Azhar Mosque in Cairo. The reverse of the paper bill displays a carving that illustrates Ramesses II fighting in a battle. It also shows a granite statue of Ramesses II holding a crook (heka) from the Museo Egizio in Turin, Italy, stylized papyrus flowers, a prow of a reed boat, and the name of Ramesses II in a cartouche. The banknote does not bear a security thread, however, it carries the signature of Farouk Abd El Baky El Okda and a watermark that reflects the mask of King Tut-Ankh-Amon. It has dimensions of 135 x 70 mm. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has the prefix #256-262.
