Reviews:

The Egypt 50 Piastres Banknote was released by the Central Bank of Egypt in 2007. It has shades of green, purple, yellow, and orange. Its obverse features the Al-Azhar Mosque in Cairo. The reverse depicts a carving of Ramesses II fighting in a battle and a granite statue of Ramesses II holding a crook (heka) from the Museo Egizio in Turin, Italy. The reverse also displays stylized papyrus flowers, a prow of a reed boat, and the name of Ramesses II in a cartouche. It does not contain a security thread, however, it has a watermark that reveals the mask of King Tut-Ankh-Amon. It is also signed by Farouk Abd El Baky El Okda. The paper bill is 135 x 70 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, it carries the prefix #297 and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
