The Egypt 50 Piastres Banknote was released by the Central Bank of Egypt in 2017. The note has a combination of green, purple, yellow, and orange. Its obverse features the Al-Azhar mosque in Cairo. The back of the note displays a carving of Ramesses II in a battle, stylized papyrus flowers, a granite statue of Ramesses II holding a crook (heka) from the Museo Egizio in Turin, Italy. It also shows the prow of a reed boat and the name of Ramesses II in a cartouche. The banknote is 135 x 70 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
