The Egypt 50 Piastres Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Egypt in 2017. It has a color combination of green, purple, yellow, and orange. Its obverse features the Al-Azhar mosque in Cairo, one of the country's earliest mosques. The reverse side shows a carving of Ramesses II in battle, as well as a granite statue of him holding a crook or heka, an ancient Egyptian symbol of leadership and pharaonic dominion. Its watermark reveals the Mask of King Tut-Ankh-Amon. The banknote measures 135 x 70 mm and is signed by Tarek Hassan Amer. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
