This uncirculated 50 Egyptian piaster banknote was introduced by the Central Bank of Egypt in 2017. Its obverse side shows the Al-Azhar Mosque in Cairo. Its reverse side honors Rameses II, with various depictions like a carving of his likeness in battle, the granite statue from Museo Egizio, and a reed boat and his name in a cartouche. Security features include a registration device of the denomination, a watermark of Tut-Ankh-Amon, and a serial number that starts in 321. Its dimensions are 135 mm by 70 mm. The details of this note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
